Primary field:

His primary area is to support medium-sized businesses, both domestic and abroad, in all matters related to commercial and corporate law. A particular concentration is drawing up commercial contracts, drawing-up partnership agreements, business acquisitions, acquisition of shareholdings (M&A) and company succession, consultation for restructuring companies. Foundation law and membership of various boards (see below) are also a priority.  


Studied law and politics (intermediate diploma) in Regensburg, Aberdeen (Scotland), and Hamburg. First state examination in law at the University of Hamburg, 1993. Legal clerkship (Referendariat) in Hamburg with placements in Costa Rica and Guatemala. Second state examination in law in Hamburg, 1996. Specialist training in labour law, and specialist solicitor in commercial and corporate law.

Professional career:

Admission as solicitor in Hamburg, 1996. Worked as a solicitor specialising in commercial and corporate law with a traditional Hamburg legal firm (Dr. Mielke & Streck) partner after three years. In 2007, the law firm merged with a highly specialised, internationally active partnership in Hamburg, focusing on medium-sized businesses. Spin-off of the commercial and corporate department in 2015. Founding partner of ALP Rechtsanwälte.  

Chairman of the board at an industrial company in Hamburg (chairman of the Strategy Committee and Head of the HR Committee), supervisory board member at a listed public company (chairman of the Audit Committee and member of the HR Committee); member of the board (chairman) at a non-profit foundation in Hamburg, a family foundation as well as a company foundation; member of various advisory boards; legal advisor of several supervisory and advisory boards.
